The Mesquite mine is seeking an Ore Control Geologist to join the Mine Geology Group which is part of the Engineering Department. The position will report to the Chief Geologist and will provide ore control and production related geological expertise to the Mine Operations Department. Exploration Geology Superintendent
A bachelor’s degree in Geology or related program, with five or more years of related experience and/or training, is required. Experience in metals exploration is necessary, as is a record of measurable and documented results. Two or more years of supervisory/contract management experience is desired. Candidates must be proficient with computer/software including experience with GIS software (preferably ArcGIS and/or Geosoft Target), geologic modeling software (preferably DataMine), and Geologic databases (AcQuire).
